Countdown to International Women’s Voices Multifaith Date.

Here are a few more onthe names and faces of those who will be adding their voices to the conversation about Global Poverty at 6.00pm  on  Thursday March 10th 2011.

Chairing the event will be Very Rev Catherine Ogle who has  invited everyone  to come and join a world changing conversation in Birmingham.

Amongst those who have accepted is Kumlashi Kumari of the Divine Onkar Mission which works in India.

Pritpal Kaur who is a student of Sikh studies and  last year was  active with the Multifaith Faith Acts Fellow in the Uk and aboard.

Elsbeth Mendes Da Costa attends the Birmingham Progressive Synagogue and a very active member of the Jubilee Debt Campaign Multifaith project.

The keynote speaker is Shabana Mahmood MP a member of the local Muslim community who will share how her faith motivates her concern for Global justice.

Along side this impressive list of those telling their story poetry drama and music from  Jackie Roxborough and Sonja Froebel  the Shimmering tree will also feature during the evening. Do  please make your reservation for a place with out delay.
